#1 Rated Lawn Care Service In Mountain Valley, Texas!
Mountain Valley was a religious community on the Medina River in northern Medina County, twelve miles south of Bandera. In 1845, a party of roughly 150 members of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led by Lyman Wight traveled to Texas. Before settling at Mountain Valley on the Medina River in the autumn of 1854, the group had lived in a number of Texas Hill Country locales, including a place six miles above Austin on the Colorado River, Zodiac on the Pedernales River, and Hamilton Creek in Burnet County.
The village seems to have prospered from 1854 until sometime in 1858, when it was abandoned due to Indian incursions, creditor pressure, dread of the coming Civil War, and, most crucially, the death of its spiritual leader, Lyman Wight. During its four years of life, Mountain Valley most likely possessed a grist and saw mill as well as a temple of worship. The Medina Dam project swamped its site in 1913. A Texas Historical Commission sign on Medina Lake Dam in Mico, Texas, recalls the Mountain Valley colonists’ history.

Very nice and helpful. I recommend these guys to everyone. From my first phone call they were efficient and professional. A bonus is that the company is faith based as well.
